KILLED AT DUNBAR, PA
Sudden Death of John Hoye, a Former Resident of Oakland
John Hoye, aged about sixty years, a native of Oakland where he resided until about fifteen years ago, was killed at Dunbar, Pa., Monday morning, the intelligence of his death being conveyed to his brother, Mr. William D. Hoye of Deer Park by a telegram from the above place, but which gave no particulars as to the manner of demise.
The deceased held a responsible position with one of the coal companies operating at or near Dunbar, having been for a number of years a resident of that place. Mr. W. D. Hoye went to Dunbar Monday to attend the funeral.

Mr. Hoye died in a pedestrian / railroad accident in 1902 near the brickyards in Dunbar, PA.
