LANE, Miranda E., Loving daughter of Cheryl (Steve) Biehl (nee Lane) and Daniel Pfirman. Dear step-sister of Jonathan and Jessica Biehl and Daniel Pfirman.
Devoted granddaughter of Estes (Elizabeth) Lane and Jim (Carol) Pfirman.
Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Passed away May 3, 2012. Age 17 years. Visitation Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the Minges Funeral Home, 10385 New Haven Rd., Harrison.
Blessing service will be 10 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial Arlington Memorial Gardens.

The lives of Colerain High School junior Miranda Lane and her passenger, junior

Mathilde Jessen, were cut short 4:15 p.m. Thursday when Miranda failed to yield at a stop sign to a semi tractor-trailer on U.S. 127 and Ohio 73 in Butler County.

Miranda was driving a Honda Civic when the Butler County Sheriff's Office says she failed to yield at a stop sign to an oncoming tractor-trailer. The truck driver was uninjured.

A third vehicle, a pickup, was also struck. Its driver was taken to University Hospital with minor injuries.

The two girls were pronounced dead at the scene.
