Mrs. Copeland died Monday night at the home after a short illness. She was born in Florence County a daughter of the late Jessie and Mary Jane Odom Morris. She was the widow of Albert A. Copeland. She was a member of the Lamar Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Wallace W. Copeland of Lamar and J. Aubrey Copeland of Mayesville; four daughters, Mrs. Alma C. Ivy, Mrs. Roscoe Fountain, Mrs. Ward Jordan and Miss. Beatrice Copeland, all of Timmonsville; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
