MRS. MARY TRACY, MASSENA WOMAN, SUCCUMBS

Massena - Mrs. Mary Ann Tracy , 83, a longtime Massena resident died Monday at 10:15 after being in ill health a number of years. Funeral services will be held at the Massena Catholic church at 9 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. D. J. Mangan officiating, and interment will be in the Massena Catholic cemetery.

The Rev. P. N. McDermott will conduct the Rosary, to be recited at 8:30 this evening at the Roland, Peacock & Baxter funeral home in Atlantic.

Mrs. Tracy was born June 27, 1866 in Erie, Pa. the daughter of Anthony and Mary Kelly, and came to Iowa with her parents when a child, settling in the Atlantic vicinity. She was married in Atlantic June 7, 1882, to Michael Tracy and they resided on a farm near Massena until 1899, when they moved to Massena. Mr. Tracy died in 1933

Surviving are four children, Mrs. Mayme Riedemann of Atlantic, Gertrude Tracy of Omaha, William Tracy of El Monte, California, and George B. Tracy of Kansas City; a brother, James Kelly and a sister, Mrs. Clara Bowen, of Omaha; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, Edward P. Tracy, died in 1933.
