John F. Willms of Le Mars Dead --Services Tuesday
Funeral services for John F. Willms, 85, who died Saturday at a Le Mars hospital, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John American Lutheran church.
Rev. L. L. Belk and the Rev. Robert Floy will officate. Burial will be in the Le Mars Cemetery under the direction of Mauer funeral home.
Mr. Willms, a lifelong Le Mars area resident, was born Nov. 13, 1878, in Grant township, Plymouth county. He was married to Margaret Pageler May 16, 1906, in Le Mars. He farmed here until 1950 when he retired and moved to Le Mars.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Dick of Le Mars: three daughters, Mrs. Verna Schilling, Mrs. Lillian Zink and Mrs. Ray Jones, all of Le Mars; a sister, Mrs. Tena Popken, Le Mars; nine grand-children and five greatgrandchildren.
