William A. "Willie" "Coon Dog" "Uncle Willie" Allen was born on April 3, 1856, in Clay County, Kentucky, his father, Daniel G Allen, was 24 and his mother, Rhoda Rossie Jones, was 23. He married Florence "Sis" Robinson Allen and they had 12 children together. He then married Susan "Sudie" Rogers and they had eight children together. He died on September 9, 1934, at the age of 78, and was buried in his hometown.
**NOTE** his death certificate shows his death as September 8th but his grave stone shows the 9th. I am leaving it as the Stone. But have added the death certificate as well.
