Mrs. Salvatore Poleto
Northampton – Mrs. Margaret Poleto, 79, of 91 Market St., died Saturday morning. She was the wife of Salvatore Poleto, who died Nov. 17, 1925. She was the owner of the Poleto Confectionary on Market St. for 61 years. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Augustina (Rossi) Ciresi. She leaves a son, Joseph of Northampton; five daughters, Mrs. Augustina Pothier, Miss Role [sic] Poleto, Mrs. Frances O. Leary, Mrs. Mary Patenaude and Mrs. Ann Tessier, all of Northampton; a brother Franck Ciresi of Cincinnati, O., four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be from the George F. Reynolds funeral home today at 8.15, followed by a high Mass of requiem in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
