Carl F. Barton, 75, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.


Carl was born May 18, 1929 in Union City, Pennsylvania to John L. & Viva "Waive" (Chapin) Barton.


Carl grew up in Union City, Pennsylvania.


He was a corporal in the US Army Air Force serving from February 18, 1946, to June 29, 1949, mostly at the Kearney, Nebraska Air Force Base.


He married on June 20, 1951, and they later divorced.


He moved from Kearney to Hastings, Nebraska in 1962. He worked in construction as an ironworker.


On April 29, 1984, he married in Hastings, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2004.


He was a member of the North Shore Assembly of God Church.


Carl was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sharon, brothers, Laurence, Bobby, Earl, and Lloyd Barton, and grandson, Chad Michael Green.


Survivors are Daughters & Sons-in-law, Sons & Daughters-in-law, step Sons & Spouses, Grandchildren, Step Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Sisters, Brothers & Sisters-in-law.
