LATHAM Sally A. Beadle, 85, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her home. Born in Greenwich, N.Y., she was the daughter of Walter and Julia (Petteys) Couser. She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1944. She married her high school sweetheart in 1946 and they were happily married for 64 years. During this time they enjoyed traveling the country for square dancing, camping and riding motorcycles. Sally worked for JCPenneys in Latham for 20 years. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Filon Beadle; an infant son, Jeffery; and two brothers, Walter and Rodney Couser. Survivors include a brother, Doug Couser; two sons, Dale (Doe) and Rod; four granddaughters, Misty, Julie, Jenny and Shannon; two great-granddaughters, Cammy and Michaela; a great-grandson, Seth and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St., Greenwich, with Rev. Chip Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwich Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Online remembrances can be made at www.flynnbrosinc.com
