Katherine N. Boehm and Clarence W. Gates were married on 18 May 1914. Clarence was electrocuted while working as a telephone lineman on 20 December 1917.

Katherine N. Boehm Drummond, 94, died at 7:10 PM Thursday [Aug. 1, 1991] in Murdock Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a resident one year, following several years of failing health. Born Aug. 9, 1896, in Bavaria, Germany, she came to Lafayette in 1906. She was married to Ory M. Drummond on Aug, 11, 1919, and he died in 1973.

Mrs. Drummond was a former employee of the Lafayette Telephone Company. She was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ and the Anti-Cant's Sunday school class for more than 60 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Adeline (Mrs. Harold) Wray of Palm Bay, FL, and Dorothy (Mrs. Harold) Sanz of Leesburg, FL; and six grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip and Edward Boehm.
