OTTERBEIN - Mabel G. Shotts Curtis, 62, formerly of Lafayette, died at 9:30 PM Sunday [Aug. 28, 1966] in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been ill six months, and a patient in the hospital the last time since Thursday. Born in Lafayette, she spent her early life here and had lived in Otterbein 21 years. In 1924, she was married in Lafayette to Raymond I. Curtis, who died in 1963.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard J. [Roberta] Halsema of Lafayette; one brother, Ralph Shotts; and one sister, Mrs. Frank Garvin, both of Chalmers; and six grandchildren.
