Brady Boling, 97, died on April 30, 2012. He was born in Ball Ground, Georgia on October 24, 1914 and was the son of the late Fred L. and May Brady Boling.
Brady proudly served his country during World War II in the Army. He was awarded the Bronze Star twice for bravery. He moved to Cobb County in 1955 and worked at Lockheed for many years until his retirement.
He loved his God, family and country. Brady was a member of Marietta First Church of the Nazarene and was a former member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church for many years.
Brady was preceded in death by his brothers, Hugh Boling and Fred L. Boling, Jr. and his sisters, Rena Chappell and Roberta Smith.
Brady is survived by his loving wife, the former Mary Nell Fulford and his son, Michael Brady Boling. Other survivors include three nephews, Hugh B. Boling, Bill Boling and Dr. Fred Boling and two nieces, Jane Mulkey and Mary B. Hicks.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Pastor Gerald A. Carnes officiating. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at Ball Ground First Baptist Church Cemetery.
