ALICE CHRISTENSEN

Alice Brusatori Christensen Of San Rafael passed away April 27, 2012. She was born in San Rafael on July 31, 1930 to Judge and Mrs. N. Charles Brusatori. Alice graduated from Dominican Convent Upper School and attended College of Marin and San Francisco College for Women. She volunteered at Marin General Hospital for many years and enjoyed her home at Lake Tahoe, traveling, playing bridge and tennis in her younger days. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, Ole Christensen. She is also survived by daughters Karen Turnbaugh and husband Peter of Novato, Kaela Hanrahan of San Mateo, Mary Kay Zirkle and husband Brad of Novato, son, Charles Christensen and wife Donna of San Anselmo, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice was preceded in death by her only sister, Mary Anne Klineman, in 1999. A Memorial Mass Celebration is 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Saint Raphael Catholic Church in San Rafael. Interment will be private at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in San Rafael. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society, Hospice by the Bay Foundation, Villa Marin Foundation or a charity of your choice. Arrangements Entrusted to: Monte's Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
