Harriett Perlina Ross was born May 22, 1875 in Texas Co. MO. She was married in Missouri, Jan. 24. 1897 to Benjamin B. Francis. In 1900 they came to Kansas. She died Feb. 21, 1904, aged 28 years 8 months and 29 days. They had 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, the oldest 6 years and the youngest 5 months. The funeral was held at the Baptist church. Burial in the Hamilton Cemetery.
