Born- July 1, 1917 in Laramie, Wyoming and was adopted by William Harrison Spencer and Helen Georgia Campbell Spencer when she was two weeks old. Died- August 25, 1989 in the hospital at Chester, California.

Helen, Dolly as her family and friends would call her, and Paul were married on May 25, 1939 in Hollywood, California. They were married for fifty years, had three daughters, Helen, Pauline and Virginia and six grandchildren, DeWayne, Victoria, Sean, Timothy, Maggie & Tony.
Dolly and Paul loved to square dance, Paul was a square dance caller for many years.
They lived on the old Honey Run Road that goes between Chico and Paradise for many years when their children were younger in a home built by Paul. When he became a power house operator working for PG&E they moved to Pentz and lived at the location of the Coal Canyon Power house for 21 years. Dolly worked for the Paradise school district and when they both retired moved to Hamilton Branch, Lake Almanor where once again a home was built.
That home was shared for many years with their Schnauzer, named Fritz.
Wonderful times and great memories were had by many a family and friends there.
They are loved and missed.
