Married Margaret Seigfreid in 1855; she was born in Pennsylvania in 1836, and died in 1872; has five children- Oscar W., Frank A., Edward E., George D. and Viola; lost Levi and Joseph in infancy. Second marriage was to Mrs. Amelia Nicholson, in 1874; she was born in Prussia; they have two children- Henry and Effie; she has children by a former marriage- Parker W. and Mary Nicholson.
