He was born to Stanley Alfred and Loretta Pearl(Chance)Tucker on Nov. 2, 1942, in Lovilia.
Donnie grew up in Lovilia and graduated from Lovilia High School. He married Jeanette Reed. To this union two children were born, Randy and Linda. Donnie and Jeanette later divorced. He then married Kay Kendall. Donnie worked for John Deere as a welder until his retiremant. He injoyed riding motorcycles, road cruising and just having a good time.
He is survived by his children, Randy(Truddy)Tucker of Pleasant Hill and Linda Tucker of Albia; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Janette(Bill)Flahive of Albia and Beverly Sampson of Alexandria, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kay; sister, Rowena Shelford; and one sister during infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia; with Pastor Lynda Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery near Bussey. Visitation will open to the public at 2 pm today, with Donnie's family present from 6-8 pm at the funeral home in Lovilia. Memorials may be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous.
