Alda Dillon
Alda Pauline Dillon, 98, of Bremerton died Sept. 8, 2002, at Ashley Gardens At Dyes Inlet in Bremerton. She was born May 22, 1904, in Carroll County, Ind., to Frank E. and Dosha (Perry) Bending. After her father's death, her mother remarried and lived in Bremerton under the name Leone D. Lingenfelter.
Ada Dillon graduated from New Rockford High School in New Rockford, N.D., in 1924. She married Dr. Roll N. Dillon on Feb. 24, 1976, in Las Vegas. A Seattle physician and surgeon for 42 years, Dr. Dillon died in 1983.
Mrs. Dillon worked as a pharmaceutical assistant for more than 30 years, retiring in 1970. She enjoyed music and traveling with her husband. She was affiliated with the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley L. Peterson of Bremerton; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, L. Janet Karas, in Las Vegas in 1995, and by a brother, Rex S. Perry in Brownsville, Ore., in 1984.
At her request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be with her husband at Acacia Cemetery in Seattle. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
