Mary Hester Alexander Frahm, 93, of Oakland passed away on April 27, 2012, in her home.
She was born July 2, 1918 in rural Coles County to Earl and Pearl Echard Alexander. She married Marvin M. Frahm on March 4, 1938. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patty Mayfield Hopper and siblings, Bob and Charles Alexander, Helen Now and Mabel Nelson.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Ron Mayfield of Oakland and LeeAnn McCue and husband, Jim, of Charlotte, N.C.; great-grandchildren Jenn and Chris McCue, also of Charlotte; a sister-in-law, Anna Mae Murphy of Marshall and many nieces and nephews.
