Mother of Dunsmuir Woman Buried in Idaho Last Week

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Grable returned Friday of last week from Boise, Idaho, where they had attended the funeral services of Mrs. E. A. Percifield, mother of Mrs. Grable.

For the past seven weeks Mrs. Grable, as well as other members of the family, had been at the bedside of her ailing mother. During that time Mr. Grable made frequent trips to Idaho to visit his wife.

Mrs. Percifield passed away Nov. 9 at the home of one of her daughters, Mrs. Dixie Wilkerson. She was 85 years old. Burial was in Caldwell, Idaho, beside the grave of a son who passed away last year.

Mrs. Percifield was born in Kokomo, Ind., on Dec. 10, 1861. She came west when a child. In 1880 she became the bride of Henry Percifield in Missouri. Eight children were born to them.

The deceased was of the Baptist faith. She had spent a number of winters in Dunsmuir with Mr. and Mrs. Grable and had won many friends here.

She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ethel Neel, Grandview, Idaho; Mrs. Dixie Wilkerson, Boise; Jess Percifield, Nampa, Idaho, Jim Percifield, Marsing, Idaho; Mrs. E. M. Grable, Dunsmuir; Mrs. Ruby Daugherty, Klamath Falls, Ore.
