Frank C. Hinojosa, 85, of Corpus Christi, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 1992. He retired from Corpus Christi Army Depot in 1965 after many years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Hinojosa on June 3, 1974 and a sister Celia Davila. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Vargas of Corpus Christi; one son and daughter-in-law Charlie and Katie Hinojosa of Cedar Town, Georgia; six brothers, Juan, Robert, Reynulfo, Rodolfo Hinojosa all of Corpus Christi; Rufino of San Antonio, Reynaldo of Houston; two sisters, Tomasa Montez of San Antonio and Lydia Smith of Denton; grandchildren, Robert R. and Loretta Vargas of San Antonio, Charlie and Margaret Hinojosa of Chino, California, Sandra and Raul Galvan of Corpus Christi, Dolores Rico of Cedar Town, Georgia; rose Marie and Timothy Allen of Cedar Town, Georgia; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. The family will be receiving friends from 9am til 9pm, Friday, March 20, 1992 at Memorial Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited 7pm, Friday, March 20, 1992 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3350 S. Alameda St. Rites of Christian burial be celebrated 10am, Saturday, March 21, 1992 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Internment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be four grandson, Robert R. Vargas, Charlie Hinojosa Jr., Raul Galvan, Timothy Allen, and two friends, Fred Vargas and Benny Alaya.
