HARVEY FOUST,
35, COMMITS SUICIDE

Blows Off Top of Head with Shotgun;
Family Troubles Blamed for Rash Act
Special to The Tribune

Scalp Level, Nov. 22- Worry over family troubles is believed to have prompted Harvey Foust, aged 35 years, married, to commit suicide early this morning at the home of his father-in-law, Charles Wissinger, residing along the Wissinger road, near Mine No. 40. Discovery of Foust's rash act was made by his father-in-law when he arose about 6 o'clock.

Foust blew the top of his head off with a shotgun. His brains were splattered over the walls and ceiling of the room in which he committed the rash act.

Foust is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mabel (Wissinger) Foust, and two small daughters. He also leaves his father, Daniel Foust, an inmate of the Old Folk's Home at this place, and several brothers and sisters.

Coroner Annie Swabb, of Johnstown, was notified of the suicide and the body was turned over to Undertaker G. C. Meek, of Windber. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.
