Bernard Raymond Be Dell, 87, of Rogue River died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Fair View Transitional Health Center.
Private family services will be held at Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
Be Dell was born March 27, 1914, in Mt. Carmel, Ill. On Aug. 3, 1937, in Vincennes, Ind., he married Geraldine Brian, who survives. For 17 years, he worked as an electrical engineer for the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. He also worked as a contractor, specializing in heavy equipment for gas stations. In 1981, he moved to Grants Pass from Las Vegas.
He enjoyed cars and hunting.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Janice Weaklend of Rogue River; a son, Kenneth Be Dell of Rogue River; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
