Mrs. Mary Ellen Sears Sears , 91 , died Tuesday morning at the Memorial Hospital in Ware County after a short illness .
A native of Coffee County and was a daughter of Lawson Sears and Nancy Crosby Sears; also preceded in death by her husband James Randall 'Jim' Sears .
She had resided in Atkinson County for a great part of her married life.
She had been living with her daughter in Waycross and was a member of the Morton Avenue Baptist Church .
Survived by her daughters:
Mrs. Ophelia Davis of Pearson
Mrs. Vivian White of Waycross
Mrs. Virginia Murray of Jacksonville, Fla.
her sons:
Wad Sears of Pearson
Jamrs Randall Sears of Brunswick, Ga.
her sister: Mrs. Lottie Powell of Pearson
half-sister: Mrs. Beatrice Hersey of Waycross .
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 pm at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Atkinson County with the Rev. Kenneth Lewis and Rev. Wiley Vickers following burial into the Church cemetery next to her husband ..
