Mrs. Lowder was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Harley Joseph and Vernie Carraway Nettles. She was married to the late Dermont Lowder.
Survivors include: two sisters; Mary Lou Windham of Brandywine, MD and Melva Dean Morris of Lake City; two stepdaughters; DeEtte (Phillip) Young of Lake City and Patti Shady of Scranton; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a very special friend, Debbie Antwine of Scranton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Brockington Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lake City Memorial Park.
The family will have visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
