Ruby Irene Green, 92, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 27, 2012 in Waurika, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Graham, TX. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Ruby was born on March 28, 1920 in Breckenridge to the late Ira and Suzie Marilla (Griffin )Brisco. She married Grady Franklin Green on December 22, 1936 in Graham. He preceded her in death on May 19th 1990. Ruby co-owned and operated Green's Manufacturing Inc. in Waurika and Terrill, Oklahoma. Her hobbies included: sewing for the public, quilting, gardening, canning, cooking and enjoying time with her family and friends. She was a woman of faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Graham.
Survivors include: daughters, Hellen Sue Grant of Graham and Patsy Allis "Pat" Harmon of Waurika, Oklahoma; Sisters, Retha Angeline Malone and Shirley Lisle of Graham, TX; 10 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: 2 daughters, Frankie Irene Green and Mary Louise Green, one son, Robert Dean Green, one Sister, 6 Brothers, and one grandson.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Graham.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
