Felicia and Edwin were married on 29 December 1851 in Olean, Cattaraugus County, New York. Felicia and Edwin had eight children. They were: Jennie A. Akin was born on 26 May 1860; Etta A. Akin was born on 24 April 1868; Fred Smith Akin was born on 18 May 1853; Frank M. Akin was born on 05 December 1855; Rose Akin was born in 1858; Birdette E. Akin was born on 18 June 1863; Ida E. Akin was born on 10 April 1866; and Angeline F. Akin was born on 25 June 1872. All the children were born in Genessee County, New York.
