He was the son of George S. Campbell and Carrie M. Keniston.

MARBLEHEAD - George S. Campbell, 83, of Littleton, a former resident here, died Tuesday night at his winter home in Daytona Beach, Fla. He was a retired trainmaster for the Boston & Maine Railroad.

He was one of the organizers of the Marblehead Post, American Legion, and a 50 year member of Philanthropic Lodge of Masons. He leaves his wife [Annie L. Bingley-sic?], two sons, Curtis of Beverly and Charles Campbell of Littleton, four sisters, Mrs. Leon French of Topsfield, Mrs. Fred Parker, Manchester, N.H., Mrs. Leon Hannin of Waltham and Mrs. Alice McKenzie of Union, N.H.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Eustis Funeral Home, Marblehead.
