William Ruby Utley, 86, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at NHC Healthcare of Madisonville.
He was born on August 8, 1925 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Gertie Lillian Utley and G. Willie Utley. He was a T.V. repairman for W.H. Arnolds and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Madisonville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Utley and his brother, James H. Utley.
He is survived by his son, Michael J. Utley of Louisville, KY; his daughter, Ruth A. (Tony) Farris of Madisonville; two step-daughters, Elease (Dick) Mabrey and Rebecca Ferrell all of Madisonville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 in the chapel of Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville with Dr. Joe Leonard officiating. Burial to follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour Monday at Harris Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Madisonville. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
