Mary Kay was born on August 27, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to Katherine J. Watson and Robert E. Watson. Mary Kay grew up in Flint and graduated from Flint Central High School in 1955. She attended Michigan State College, majoring in Physical Education and was employed by McLaren General Hospital, where she worked as an operating room nurse from 1958-1961. She was business owner of the Fenton Grain Elevator in the early 1980's. Mary Kay made friends with everyone and cherished many long lasting friendships throughout her life. She will be forever missed. Mary Kay was a faithful and devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Flint, and was also a member of the Tyrone Hills Golf League, Fenton PTO, Flint Junior League, Questers Antique Club and various bridge clubs over the years. Mary Kay also enjoyed all sports, gardening, golfing, reading, corresponding with loved ones, and spent many hours doing needlepoint; she also volunteered at the Flint Institute of Arts.

Watching her grandchildren grow up was the highlight of her life. Mary Kay was preceded in death by her mother and father.
