FRANK PETER HULSLANDER, 76, of Troy, World War II veteran and founder of Hulslander's Garage, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at his home. Born April 11, 1923 in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pa., he was a son of the late Morton Benjamin and Bertha Benson Hulslander. Surviving are his children; Jack (Aurora) Hulslander of Troy, Jean (Paul) Krupsaw of Escondido, Calif., and Gary (Cheryl) Hulslander of Troy; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a special friend, Shirley Wolfe. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Harriett Bolt Hulslander, on Dec. 11, 1987. Frank was the owner and operator of Hulslander's Garage in Troy, which his sons now operate. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Marine Corps. It was Frank's wishes that there be no calling hours or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Granville Summit. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral home Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, N.Y. –Towanda Daily Review. Jan. 8, 2000 (Buried Granville Center Cemetery.)

Hulslander was the founder of Hulslander's Garage which his sons now operate.
