Reada M. Espich, 94 of Bluffton passed away at 7:50 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at River Terrace Estates. Reada was a 1938 graduate of Markle High School and owned and operated Reada Mae's Beauty Shop in Markle from 1938-1943. She was a member of the Markle United Methodist church as well as an honorary member of the PSI OTA PSI sorority. Reada was also a charter member of the Markle Historical Society.
Reada was born on April 12, 1920 in Rockford IN, a daughter of John L. and Maude M. (Wilburn) McBride.
She was united in marriage to Eldon "Edd" Espich on March 6, 1942. Her husband preceded her in death in 2009.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Anita ( Doug ) LeMaster of Bluffton; Seven grandchildren: Tad (Donise) Stahl of Fishers, Jamie Washburn of Warrenton MS, Rob (Tricia) Ross of Markle, Annie B. Ross of Kokomo, Cindy (Andy) Shively of Bluffton, Christina LeMaster of Bloomington, and Laura (Raymond) Hadgard of Noblesville; and 14 great grandchildren.
Reada was preceded in death by a son Edward L. Espich; a daughter Susan Achenbach; two sisters: Crystal McBride and Mildred Dalrymple; Two brothers Ralph McBride and Kenneth McBride, and a great granddaughter Kellie Ross
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 26, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel located at 415 N. Lee St. Markle IN.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Markle United Methodist Church located at 145 W. Morse Street Markle, IN 46770
Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery
