A lifelong resident of Glenn County, she was a daughter and granddaughter of early settlers of Germantown from Germany in the 1880's.
Her maternal grandparents were Hans and Margaretha Hinrichs, both born in Holstein, Germany. Hans came to Dixon, California by way of Panama in 1869 and to Germantown a year later and took up land north of town. Margaretha arrived in 1883 and married Hans that same year.
Mrs. Weinrich was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Artois.
Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Gillaspy of Artois; two grandsons, John Gillaspy of Massachusettes [sic] and Tom Gillaspy of Artois. She was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Weinrich in February, 1982.
Funeral arrangements were under F.D. Sweet and Son of Willows. Internment[sic] was in the Willows Cemetery. – Transcribed by M.
