DUDLEY - Treffle J. "Terry" Dumouchel, 80, of 217 West Main St., a longtime auto mechanic and an area musician, died Saturday in Webster Manor Nursing Home.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Teresa M. (Collins) Dumouchel; a son; two sisters, Gladys B. Taylor of Oxford and Doris Therrien of North Fort Myers, Fla.; and two grandchildren. He was born in Webster, son of Hermas and Emma (Landry) Dumouchel, and lived in Webster and Dudley.
He was an automotive mechanic at Kunkel Buick Co. for many years, retiring in 1971. Mr. Dumouchel played the guitar and banjo with the Blue Jackets for many years and was the last surviving member of the orchestra. He was a member of St. Louis Church in Webster. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a boating enthusiast.
The funeral will be held Wednesday from Scanlon Funeral Home, East Main Street, Webster, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Louis Church, 15 Lake St., Webster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
