The remains of Henry Erwin, who died at Mt. Morris Monday afternoon, were brought to this place Tuesday evening, and the funeral services were held from the house of Davis Jerome, his brother-in-law, Wednesday at 11 o'clock. He was a resident of this place for many years, having charge of the grist mill. BH was also leader of the brass band, long and widely known as Erwin's cornet band. He was a jolly man and will long be remembered by his associates. His age was 65 years.
