RUBY M. SEDERBERG Age 96 of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, November 3, 2003 at the VNA Horton Hospice Center.
She was born February 27, 1907 in Chesterton, the daughter of Gustav and Lulu (Cook) Samuelson.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Valparaiso since 1934, had been a clerk at First National Bank of Valparaiso 8 years, a beautician owning and operating her own shop for 12 years and was a volunteer with PMH Guild for 10 years.
On November 27, 1929, she married Carl M. Sederberg who preceded her in death in 1991.
Survivors include their 5 children, Roma Cotterman of Valparaiso, Charles (Phyllis) Sederberg of Valparaiso, Marilyn Del Mastro of Portage, Carole (Robert) Knoblock of Valparaiso, Jeanie Wiesjahn of Valparaiso; 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Shelly Brigham and Jill Knoblock, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso. Pastor Mike Eddy officiating with burial at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to VNA Horton Hospice Center.
