Harley worked as a millwright for the Detroit Stoker Company in Monroe for 35 years, and owned/operated Ellison's Restaurant in Monroe for many years.
He was survived by his wife; a son Don (Bonnie); three daughters, Brenda (Richard) Burns, Diane (Danny) Brasher, and Sharon Raymer; a stepson, Michael Durham; a stepdaughter, Mary Helen Brown; a brother, Coolidge; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in passing by a stepdaughter, LaVerne Ewing, two brothers,Hance and Benny, and a sister, Minnie Leach.
Harley was laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, Mi.
Rest in Heavenly Peace.
