Mrs. Lillie Shinn Head, 53, died July 8, 1966 in a Seattle, Washington Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Born in Jackson County, she was the youngest daughter of the late John O. Shinn and Flora Ellen Dunlap Shinn, of Cottageville, W.Va.

She is survived by four daughters, Veva Devial, and Marlene Martin of Columbus, Ohio, Ramona Mills and Shelia Brown of California; sons, Rodney Engle and Harry Engle, both of California; sisters, Mabel Cossin of Cottageville, Daisy Stone Richardson and Dolly Stover, both of Columbus, Ohio; brother, Paul Shinn, Evans, and a half-brother, Oliver Shinn of Birmingham, Ala. Two brothers, Howard A. Shinn and Robert Shinn preceded her in death.

The body will arrive at the Casto Funeral Home Saturday evening. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 17, at 2 p.m. at the Creston E.U. B. Church with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.
