Catherine Weatherly
Beulah Catherine Weatherly, 92, of Greenville passed away April 24, 2012 at Hunt Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Bost and Rev. Jimmie Stripland officiating.
Interment will follow at Caddo Mills I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Born July 4, 1919, near Farmersville, Catherine was the daughter of Joseph Allen and Cordie Myrtle (Jeffords) Chapman. On February 19, 1939, she married L. P. Weatherly, Jr. who preceded her in death on March 6, 1971. She was a homemaker and provided child care in her home. She was a member of Faith Bible Church of Caddo Mills.
Her survivors include her son Presley Max Weatherly and wife, Linda of Garland; daughters Letha Weatherly Bost and husband Richard of Caddo Mills and Linda Weatherly Barker and husband Phillip of Celeste; sister-in-law Imogene Ard and husband Ray of Caddo Mills; grandchildren Deonna Deuson, Colin Raper and wife Becky, Shannon Melheim and husband Stuart, Stacy Stokes and husband Ronnie, Jerry Williams and wife Bonnie, Karen Shaw and Tanya Williams; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandson David Williams; brothers Maurice, Noble, and B. K. Chapman; sisters Lola Price, Opal Cutbirth, Hazel Oliver, Rita Parker and Hope Allen.
Pallbearers will be Lester Chapman, Alton Ray Weatherly, Chayn Gaines, Ronnie Stokes, Carlos Denton, and Jimmy Thomason. Honorary pallbearer will be Harold Payne.
