Lena Heiniger was born in Wyssachen, Bern, Switzerland on September 10, 1877 to Andres Heiniger and Lina Schneider. She married Gottfried Warner Huber on March 25, 1902 and migrated to the United States in 1909. Lena and Gottfried had six children, Harry Ernest, Paul Heinrich, Erna Lena, Guido Ernest, Thelma (a daughter who died at birth) and Walter Warner. Lena became ill and was institionalized at the Utah State Hospital from 1923 until her death on April 19, 1943. She was buried at the Wasatch Memorial Park Cemetery in Wasatch, Salt Lake City, Utah on April 28, 1943.
