Patricia was born February 11, 1938 in San Francisco, California to George and Nelda Hanna. Pat attended College at San Jose State where she met and fell in Love with Frederick Grebner. A cup of coffee was their first date. Pat and Fred married June 14, 1958 and carried their love over to a family and raised 3 children; Mary Russell, Karen Stearns and John Grebner. They spent 47 loving years together before Fred's death in 2005. Pat had 7 Grand children, Joshua, Rachel, Brittany, Jeremiah, Jordan, Matthew and Mikayla. Three great Grandchildren, Kayden, Takodah and Hunter. Pat was a loving and spiritual woman of God, attending St Francis Parish and St Phillips most of her adult life. She was a Prayer warrior to all who needed encouragement and love. She loved music and was always heard around the house singing in her beautiful voice; songs of worship and praise. Pat's witty and charming personality won over hearts and always left an imprint on the lives that she touched. Her great sense of humor will always keep us laughing when we think of her. As well as living as a role model to her husband and children, Pat took care of Fred with his vision impairment, the cooking and cleaning as well as all the kids activities. She also became Fred's secretary at the welfare department. Pat made sure her family went to church every Sunday, even giving spit baths when needed. She enjoyed her teas in the afternoon with her almond cookie treats. Pat loved to share a cup of tea with anyone available. She really loved her cats and stray kitties were her weakness. Family prayer time and dinner together was very important and was very special to all of us. We were very blessed to have a mother who loved her husband and family. There was much love, tenderness and affection for all. Pat gave her all in everything she did and was always willing to give more. She went home to rest in the arms of our Lord April 12, 2012 where she rejoined her beloved husband Fred. We will always remember her Bright blue eyes and her beautiful smile. She's definitely with the angels and is looking down on us. Already in Heaven and Present with the Lord. Service at Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary, April 17, 2012. Viewing from 11:00am till 1:00pm. Graveside service at 2:00pm. www.bakersfield.com/obits
