The death of John Reuben VanSickle took place Saturday at the home of his brother, William on the Smethport road. He was 76 years of age, a pioneer, having lived here most of his life, with the exception of three years in Olean.
He is survived by children, Mrs. George Hahn of Olean, Reuben VanSickle of Liberty and Grover VanSickle of Oklahoma.
Interment was made Tuesday in the Grimes Cemetery by the side of his wife who died three years ago.
