Joseph was born to Blain and Clara Crain in Rock Elm, Wisconsin. He worked for the Auburn School District #408. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening and RVing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert and Al Crain, a sister, Joy Kelsey and his daughter, Cheryl Jensen. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, 2 sons, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service was March 7, 2012 at Enumclaw Seveth Day Adventist Church and burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn. Weeks' Funeral Home in Buckley handled the arrangements.
