Albert Kaiser, 85, a retired shoemaker passed away at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at home of his sister, Mrs. Paulina Charles, 296 Fifth Ave, following a long illness.

Mr. Kaiser was born September 15, 1864, at Marion, the son of John L. and Louisa Strich Kaiser. He lived his entire life in this community and for the past fifteen years he has made his home with his sister. His wife, the former Freida Kirkoff passed away in 1926.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Louise Langton of Seattle, Wash. Two sons, Leonard and Frankie preceded him in death. Mr. Kaiser also leaves a brother, George W. Kaiser of Marion and three sisters: Mrs. Paulina Charles and Mrs. Matilda Hutton of Marion and Mrs. Rose Speakman of Bakersfield, Cal.

Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. at the Yocom-Murdoch Chapel in charge of the Rev. C.V. R. DeJong. Interment was on the family lot in Oak Shade cemetery.
