Roland E. "Bud" Arnold, 88, passed away March 16 in Salem.
He was born Feb. 21, 1924 in Lawrence County, the son of Everett and Bernice Arnold. He married Alice M. Spinks on Feb. 10, 1945 and she preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 2010.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1942-1945.
He is survived by a son Larry and wife Carole of Nokomis, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and a son, Michael.
Full military graveside rites were March 20 and burial followed at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
