Died at 11 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 1978, at Bayshore Hospital, Pasadena, Texas. He was 93, a resident of 4546 North St., Baton Rouge, and a native of Caldwell Parish. He was a retired employee of Moose Lodge. Body at Welsh Funeral Home, with visiting from 8 a.m. Wednesday until religious services at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Bob Anderson. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Survived by a daughter, Mrs. C.A. (Lillian) Ibach, Orange, Texas; a son, Seth E. Fluitt Jr., Houston, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Katie May, Baton Rouge; a grandson, T.R. Morris, Atlanta, Ga.; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ida Kennedy Fluitt.
Pallbearers will be J. Pitre, W.B. May, Robert Myers, Louis Carles, Gordon Morris and J.T. Graves.
He was a member of the Baptist church.
