Battled against Confederate Army, (Hood was Confederate commander).
Shot on 7 December, 1864. (shot in right thigh, fractured bone per medical report)
Hood's army was defeated.
Eben was discharged the 3rd of June, 1865 due to wound received during the Battle of the Cedars.
