He was a lifelong resident of Muncie. He had worked at Maintenance and Belting Co. here for about 13 years and later worked at Staton Homes.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie; five daughters, Jane, Deborah Ann and Tammey, all at home, Mrs. Diane Life, Muncie, and Miss Kathy Coy, Anderson; two sons, Stephen and Jeffrey, both at home; one grandson; one sister, Mrs. Jama Lankford, Gaston; and two brothers, Rev. Raymond Coy, Muncie, and Everett Coy, Pendleton.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Piepho & Fry Funeral Home with Rev. Ervin Robertson of Eatonn officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
