Louisa was married to David Niau Haleakala on 21 Jun 1921. The 1930 and 1940 census records reveal marriage to David Haleakala and the following children, Abraham, Louis, William, Hannah, Violet and Louisa Haleakala. A Family tree on ancestry named Haleakala has many more children, extensive research is required and/or family closer related to step up with better information. An obit located on ancestry.com states she was last living in ? Makaweli, Georgia. This is incorrect transcription, Makaweli is former name for what is now known as Kaumakani, Kauai. It is next town as you leave Hanapepe heading to Waimea.

"Kaumakani is still called Kaumakani, Makaweli is west and commonly known to be the area from Kaawanui or Camp 6 -Pakala to Makaweli Valley of the Makaweli River. Louisa is my Great Grandmother. She lived in Hanalei, my Tutu Violet Wehina Niau Haleakala Kahalekomo lived in Makaweli a few of her brother and sisters. Mahalo nui"
