Mrs. Lydia Ann Veitch, widow of the late William Veitch, died this morning at 5:30 o'clock at her home, 305 Chester avenue, at the age of 84 years. Mrs. Veitch had been ill about a week.
The survivors are her children, Mrs. Retta Minteer and Pearl E. Veitch of Los Angeles, Frank W. of Mazie, Okla., Paul L. of Unionville, Mrs. Margaret Barrier of Alhambra, Calif., and Mrs. Minnie B. Richardson, with whom she lived.
Until word is heard from Mrs. Richardson, now on a visit to California and Dallas, Tex., no funeral arrangements will be made.
VEITCH SERVICES -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Ann Veitch, who died Friday morning at her home, 305 Chester avenue, will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Willard Street M. E. church, conducted by Rev. L. H. Lanning. Burial will be made in Ottumwa Cemetery.
